It was a week of B's: babes and mega-bucks, to mega-bruises and Bastion Point
As far as events go there were only 2 for me last week. The Westin Hotel’s grand opening gala and the Caravan of Love mystery bus tour. Everything in-between was swept aside.
I’ve been getting so many emails and texts about “the Caravan” and the after parties that followed; I’ve set up a chat thread on my website. Click here to read the buzz and add your own comments and stories too. There are also the first Caravan photo galleries on the site, but I've got plenty more to upload so check in every so often for the updates (and if you’ve got a few priceless shots you want to share, just email them to me and I’ll add them to the collection).
Last of all there’s my weekly wrap (click here) and check out all the upcoming events below.

Friday October 5th
Nikola Memedovic & The Funk Clinic feat. 247 Deschlers Bar, 17 High St, CBD No Charge. 9.30pm – 12am
Booths never go out of fashion and Deschlers has lots. I’d come along after work, or 1 stop then here, grab a booth and settle in. The tapas is good, and the cocktails are even better. Stay till the band begins and I guarantee you’ll stay longer. Their funk/hip-hop jazzy style is captivatingly unique.
And/Or House Classix SpyBar, 204 Quay St, Viaduct Harbour No Charge. 10pm – Very late
Friday down here is a little tamer than Saturday, but equally as social. Get down here before midnight and get complimentary Amstel beer for the boys and Deutz for the ladies. The Ecstasy liqueur promo team will be in force letting the masses sample their terrific drop, and the normal mad (but in a good way) DJ’s will be spinning their finest house tunes.
