What comes before Part B? Part A :) And here's the 9min YouTube link of my one last week
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJWxBwgxoGM
I’ll keep this week’s blog short as I know you’re all very busy, and because I had quite a dry week, alcoholically speaking. My week was filled though with quite bizarre arty movies, such as “You, the Living”, and inspirational ones like “Run, Fat Boy, Run”. I caught some stage shows too; with the Auckland International Comedy Festival launching on Thursday the options were bountiful. “Loser” shone out. 6 youthful talented actors had us clutching our bellies in rapturous laughter for 90 minutes. We selected the elevated front row to watch proceedings and one member of our group was a little red-faced as she’d neglected to slip into underwear before leaving the house, and her skirt was quite the opposite of long. I’m sure I saw one eagle eyed actor cotton-on.

The venue (magic sea views and swish well maintained décor), the party goers (encouraged to dress “to the 9’s”, and be on their best behaviour) and the entertainment (I personally know all the performers, and we’re in for a treat).

Monday April 28th
Juice TV LIVE @ SkyCity SkyCity Theatre, Hobson St, Auckland Central Invite only. 5 – 11pm
Worth coming even without an invite to the main theatre (where Elemeno P, Goldenhorse, Goodnight Nurse, Atlas and Anika Moa are doing their thing), as Luke Thompson, Misfits of Science and White Birds & Lemons are performing for all there. You’ll prob. see a celeb or two, and love the buzzing atmosphere. But best of all you may be able to sneak in if you’re cunning enough.

Mark Watson Comedian Crunchie Comedy Chamber, Auckland Town Hall, Queen St, CBD Tickets $29.50 - $35 from www.ticketek.co.nz. 7 – 8pm
The show’s called “Can I briefly talk to you about the point of life”, so that’s rather open ended. I was lucky to see him perform last week as part of the festival preview and he is a funny Englishman if ever there was one. Well worth it.
