Credit when it's due and I thank Pasha, Bungalow, Chow, Globe, Flight, Forte, Boogie Wonderland, Spy and my friends for making last Friday so memorable
I turned 32 last Friday (the big party’s on April 12th, RSVP your name to me if you’d like to come) and the bars above all came to the party and looked after my friends and me royally.
Before all that though was Duran Duran at Vector on Wednesday, that was kicked off by a party at Dougal’s. Duran sang all the classics but with a modern edge. I danced the entire time and loved it. The industry moguls beside me were unimpressed with the sound, lighting, set-up, songs and artists and stormed off early, leaving me more room to party.

Sunday April 6th
Daylight Savings 2008 feat. Fat Freddy’s Drop Grey Lynn Park, Grey Lynn No Charge. 1 – 6pm
This is the only thing to do in Auckland this Sunday as far as I’m concerned. Come for the funky varied beats, vast array of people and overall atmosphere. Come prepared though, it rained last year. The party continues at Malt on Richmond Rd afterwards, that’s always fun.

Monday April 7th
Movie Night – 2 Days In Paris Most Cinemas Tickets $9 - $15
A witty feel good comedy I saw last week. It follows two days in the relationship of a New York based couple, as they attempt to fizz-up their relationship with romance by staying a couple of days in Paris. Hopes are dashed by the French chick’s overbearing, non-English speaking, parents and the reappearance of her flirtatious ex-boyfriends. Her intensely paranoid, and hypochondriatic, American partner grows quickly disillusioned. Great stuff.
