20 sleeps and I'm getting anxious. But I'm becoming an Ironman so it'll be OK!

I thought my white & pink number in the couture couples comp, at Auckland Cup Day, would be a winner. It wasn't. I'm a tad bitter. Hung-over to hell I geared up and headed to Taupo to see 1495 take part in a grueling 226km race. I'm told that our group alcohol spurred support method got more photographic attention than the race winner, Cameron Brown, at the prize-giving.

There was of course more that cropped up. To check it out CLICK HERE!

Friday Mar 13th

Elemeno P LIVE
Kentish Hotel, 5 Queens St, Waiuku, South Auckland
Tickets $35 from www.ticketmaster.co.nz. 8Pm – 12am

I love these guys, partly due to them being one of the few bands to party with me at the BDO this year, and partly also because their rock energy is hard to beat. They play at an old hotel that boasts the longest continuous liquor license in NZ, and buses run out there from Pukekohe for this event. Support act is a group called Flow (they seem OK, but not vital to see).

And/Or
Kiwiana Events pres. DJ Falcon (Paris)
Opium, Aotea Square, Queen Street, Auckland Central
Tickets $35 from www.ticketek.co.nz. $45 on the door. 8Pm – 3am

Held in a sophisticated clubbing lounge amphitheatre, this will be rather large. He made the #1 house party anthem “So Much Love To Give” (that's he's bound to drop in on the night), and the bearded French DJ will impress with class and enthusiasm. He's on 12 – 2am but come early to settle in and get a prime booth to jam in.

And/Or

Shed 19 (ex Float), Princes Wharf, The Viaduct, Auckland Central

The man behind the worldwide smash hit 'Get Shaky' is here for 1 night only. Even yer Mum would have heard this track. The best NZ DJ's, and royal lighting and sound will be on display for your all around pleasure.
