An awkward morning is better than a boring night
Congratulations to Christine Bieleski who won the Raspberry KGB prize and Rob Keating the Woodstock Bourbon (party at yours this weekend aye?) Megan Tapper, Janine Jurji and Paul Marks got the double passes to the super funny "Knocked Up" movie. Chico Timoti, Desiree Pretty, John Taimana, Amanda Riley and Abbie Mackay won the double tickets to see The Warriors conquer to The Knights this Saturday.

Jason Eli spins from 6pm broardcasting live on George FM. Then Bevan Keyes takes over. It'll be big, this is day 1; 2 more nights of partying follow after this. They are a live funk/soul band featuring members of Opensouls and Fat Freddies Drop. Their hits have been clogging NZ alternative radio and they are getting worldwide attention and accolades.

Greyhounds as Pets - Meet & Greet Pet Mania, 45 Clyde Road, Browns Bay No Charge. 11am - 2pm These gentle, lazy dogs are very different to what you might expect. You'll also help Pet Mania fundraise for the great rescue work that G.A.P (Greyhounds As Pets) does; finding loving homes for ex-racing Greyhounds. And/Or The Warriors & Auckland NPC Rugby Supporters Double Header Mt Smart Stadium & Eden Park $10 - $80 from Ticketek & Ticketmaster. Kick-off 5.30pm & 7.30pm It's possible to do both, but I'm not paying your speeding fine. It would be fun though. See two world-class teams kick butt. Please let me know if anyone manages this feat. And/Or Miss Auckland Pagaent The Crowne Plaza, Albert Street, Auckland Central Tickets $90. Variety Monster Book Fair Alexandra Park Function Centre, Level 3, Greenlane Road West, Epsom No Charge. 8am - 4pm It's the largest book fair of its kind in the country, with bargain books, CDs, DVDs, Videos, Records, Games, puzzles and lots more. Celebrity story tellers 10-12pm. And/Or Auto Salon Final Day ASB Showgrounds, 217 Greenlane West, Epsom $20 on the door. It's all about cars. The sleekest, fastest, loudest, sexiest etc. There will be giveaways, girls and glam. Not a bad way to spend a lazy Sunday.
